See in stunning clarity using state-of-the-art live astrophotography, level up your naked-eye viewing with the guidance of expert astronomers, and even take home beautiful silhouette portraits shot against the backdrop of the Milky Way. All this and more could be a part of your Night Sky Journey! The Sunshine Coast Hinterland, now including Queensland's first internationally recognised Dark Sky Reserve, is a world-class stargazing location. This is an area with minimal light pollution, where you can see the universe more clearly. Bathe in the glow of the Milky Way beneath our pristine winter skies! Our tours run within the darkest phases of the moon, on special astral occasions such as during meteor showers, and by private group arrangement. The tours will vary, incorporating sunset drinks and/or warming food before we set out along the softly glowing red-light pathway to tonight's secluded stargazing location in nature. Ask questions in a relaxed small-group atmosphere with our astronomers, and enjoy an experience that will open your eyes to the wonders of the cosmos.
