It’s easy to see why Australia loves our famous Noosa Main Beach! Fringed by Noosa National Park and backed by luxurious beachfront accommodation, this idyllic spot serves up the ultimate postcard-perfect view. You’ll also only be a stone’s throw from some of the Sunshine Coast's trendiest restaurants, cafes, and boutiques in Hastings Street. We suggest dusting off the sand after a long day of ocean swims and sitting back with a cocktail as the pastel hues of sunset settle over the waves.

Day 2 – Coolum Beach

With its laidback coastal vibes, Coolum Beach is a must visit for a classic Sunshine Coast beach day. As the home break of surfing legend Julian Wilson, this spot is a favourite for local surfers and bodyboarders alike. Buzzing eateries are also only a short walk from the shore, giving you plenty of options about where to refuel after a day by the sea. You won’t be able to miss Mount Coolum, either, which presides over the leafy streets of this beautiful beach town.

Day 3 – Mudjimba Beach

Boasting stunning views of Mudjimba Island and Mount Coolum, the quiet shores of Mudjimba Beach set the stage for plenty of dreamy surfing sessions and sunrise strolls. After you’ve caught your fill of waves, retire to one of the nearby cafes or get the barbecue sizzling in the park. In winter, you’ll also want to keep your eyes peeled for splashing tails on the horizon as whales pass by on their annual migration.

Day 4 – Alexandra Headland

Name a better pairing than Aussie surf club vibes and a soundtrack of rolling swell... we’ll wait. Known by the locals as ‘Alex’, the stars of the show at Alexandra Headland are the magnificent coastal frontage of beach, headland and parks, extending to Maroochydore in the north and Mooloolaba in the south. With its patrolled swimming beach and a seriously good vantage point on the headland to watch surfers riding the waves, you’ll find the hours disappearing as you set up here for the day.
