Kilkivan Great Horse Ride & Country Weekend Escape
The KGHR & Country Weekend Escape is back this year bigger & better than ever before held at the Kilkivan Showgrounds. General admission is free, live music all weekend, barrel racing, ranch sorting, handy horse, novelties, fancy dress, heavy horse demonstrations, Friesians horse display, Brook WildHorsemanship, dog high jump competition, working dog demonstrations, Cob & Co Carriage rides, Light Horse Re-enactment by 5th Light Horse Regiment Gympie Troop, historical re-enactment by Gympie Historical Re-enactment Association, roping demonstrations, mechanical bull, line dancing, sip & paint, kids entertainment, a huge Cent Auction, lucky door prize, socials photo sharing competition and much more. The Main St Markets are also returning to support the Saturday Main St Parade in the Main Street Kilkivan. Dont miss the Kicking Up Dust Youth Talent, Camp Oven Cook-off and Bush Poetry competitions or event better enter for the chance to win some great prizes.
