Kilkivan Great Horse Ride 40 Year Anniversary Country Festival

The Kilkivan Great Horse Ride Country Festival is back this year bigger & better than ever before to celebrate its 40 year anniversary ride with the main event held at the Kilkivan Showgrounds. General admission is free, camping available, live music all weekend, licensed bar all weekend, barrel racing, ranch sorting, handy horse, horse novelties, fancy dress, heavy horse demonstrations, dog high jump competition, working dog demonstrations, Light Horse Re-enactment by 5th Light Horse Regiment Gympie Troop, historical re-enactment by Gympie Historical Re-enactment Association, roping demonstrations, mechanical bull, line dancing, sip & paint, camp oven cook off, bush poetry completion, kids entertainment, a huge raffle, lucky door prize, and much more. The Main St Markets are also returning to support the Saturday Main St Parade in the Main Street Kilkivan. Don't miss the Kicking Up Dust Youth Talent, Camp Oven Cook-off and Bush Poetry competitions or even better enter for the chance to win some great prizes. Onsite camping is also available but bookings are essential from the website.
