The Sunshine Coast lights up with myriad of family-friendly Christmas events and many of them are free. Here are the top Christmas carol locations across the coast to start feeling festive!
Bli Bli Community Christmas Carols
2 December, 4.30pm to 8pm
Bli Bli State School
The fun starts early with entertainment and time with Santa before the carols kick off at 5pm. Start the festive season with a bang - the event will finish with fireworks of course!
Kawana Carols by the Beach
18 December, 3pm to 7.30pm
Kawana Surf Club
Hear those sleighbells ring beach-side at this Christmas fiesta. With fair rides, water games, delicious food, of course some live carols, and a visit from Santa himself!
Buderim Community Carols by Candlelight
11 December, 6pm
Buderim Village Park, Kings Street, Buderim
Bring a picnic blanket, the family and join friends and neighbours in traditional carolling. There is something for everyone with entertainment for all ages, even an appearance from the famous guy in the red suit. From Jingle Bells to Hark the Herald Angels, enjoy a good old fashioned singalong with the community.
Hinterland Carols
4 December, 1pm to 7.30pm
Eumundi Markets Car Park
This year, Hinterland Carols are joining forces with Eumundi Christmas Extravaganza for an extra special festive experience. The event will be a five hour festival incorporating wonderful Christmas themed entertainment on stage for the whole family, free rides, fireworks, face painting, food and market stalls.
Tewantin Christmas Carnival
11 December, 4pm to 8pm
Memorial Park
Pony rides, a giant slide and tea cup rides are what to expect in Tewantin this year before carols by candlelight kick off later in the afternoon.
Peregian Beach Carols
21 December, 3pm to 8pm
Peregian Park
