Double Island Point with Epic Ocean Adventures
If there's one thing better than a day at the beach, it's driving onto our sandy shores to get there. Grab some mates (ideally one of them with a 4WD) and spend the day at Double Island Point: arguably one of the most picturesque spots in the country. Spend the day soaking up the pristine turquoise waters, endless stretches of white sugary sands, abundant wildlife, multicolored sand dunes, world-class surf breaks, and mesmerising ocean views.

Nothing says spring like a relaxing session where someone else pours the beers and brings you food. Enjoy the sunshine and find a beer garden that's just right for you. While there are plenty scattered around the Sunshine Coast, we can recommend the fun retro vibes at Rick’s Garage in Palmwoods. Their burgers make it well worth a stop!

Summer days start early here in Queensland, so set the alarm and make the most of our cool spring mornings. First on the agenda is a trip to Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird World, where spectacular flora blooms across 23 acres of scenic land (spot the Glass House Mountains!). The fun doesn't just stop at exploring the gardens, though. Make sure to stroll through their impressive aviaries and Farm Friends section, filled with cheeky cockatoos, macaws, and more.
