Proudly presented by Caloundra RSL at Kings Beach Amphitheatre, Caloundra. Christmas in Caloundra sounds like a few thousand people singing slightly out of tune while the light goes off the water. Carols on Kings brings the community together for an evening of carols, live performances and food under a summer sky. It's the kind of Christmas that only makes sense on the Sunshine Coast. The stage program runs into the evening with local performers, familiar carols and the sort of atmosphere only found outdoors in December. A picnic rug is recommended, along with arriving early and staying for the singing after dark. Food trucks will be on site through the evening, so dinner is sorted. Carols on Kings is presented by Caloundra RSL, who will be on site with a marquee and cold water for anyone who needs it, and delivered by the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce with support from Sunshine Coast Council and the Office of Kendall Hatcher MP. What's on: live carols and performances from local artists. Santa will be in attendance. Food trucks on site. Caloundra RSL community marquee with free water. Know before you go: entry is free. Bring a picnic rug, something warm for later, and a singing voice.
